Estimated reading: 2 minutes 257 views

Billable Items and Billable Item Units are important components in tracking and billing for projects within our software.

Billable items are items that can be billed to a client as part of a project. These can include physical items or services.

Billable item units are the units of measurement for a billable item. For example, if the billable item is ‘hours of consulting’, then the billable item unit could be ‘hour’.

Once you have set up your billable items and billable item units, you can link them to deliverables and prices within your projects. This will allow you to track the billable items and units used for each project, and ensure that your clients are being billed accurately for the work that is being done.

You are also able to mark a billable items as ‘Requiring Insurance’. This feature allows your organisation to keep track of all insurances needs.
