Features

  • Journals: A new Journals feature is now available for members of the accounts group. It allows manual journal entries to be created including options to import from Employment Hero, duplicate existing entries or set up repeating journals. The documentation covers how to access and use each option.

  • Split Purchases: It’s now possible to split purchases across multiple branches (or organisations) from within the branch register. This helps with accurate cost allocation. When a split is applied, journals are automatically created for each branch or organisation involved. View the steps.

Improvements

Branches

  • A new purchases tab shows all purchases associated to the selected branch.
  • You can now retrieve the WIP at a specific date for any branch.

Permission Groups

  • Added permission group controls for accessing weekly forecasts.
  • Added permission group controls for viewing and managing branch budgets.

Custom Notifications

  • You can now create a custom notification to alert when timesheets go over standard hours.

Users

  • Added the ability to delete pending user invites.

Soil Testing

  • Sample test methods have been moved back to each individual sample.
  • When selecting ‘Client Selected’ in a test request, the location selection method is now removed.
  • Added latitude and longitude logging to samples.

Projects

  • Project Job WIPs are now more accurate and reflect:

Pricing

  • Improved the performance of changing user pricing, resulting in faster load times.

Support Tickets

  • The layout of support tickets has been improved for better usability.
  • Admins can now view support tickets across all organisations.
  • The ”?” help menu now links to your own support requests, rather than a general support page.

Allowances

  • You can now add users and jobs to allowances for more accurate tracking.

Purchases

  • Credit card receipts can now be added to shared projects.

Bug Fixes

Soil Testing:

  • Fixed an issue where users were able to withdraw worksheets during the locking process. This caused worksheets to be withdrawn but still end up locked after conversion.
  • Fixed incorrect date formatting in sample worksheets.

Journals:

  • Fixed an issue where journals couldn’t save if a deleted branch was selected.
  • Resolved a bug that caused debits to be sent to Xero as credits and vice versa.
  • Fixed an issue where journals incorrectly flagged as unbalanced when they were balanced.
  • Journals are now properly voided in Xero when deleted.
  • Fixed a bug where journal entries were being sent to Xero in the wrong direction (reversed debits and credits).

Dashboards:

  • Fixed a mobile bug where tapping on your dashboard showed no information.

Files:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented users from dragging files into file upload fields.

Forecasts:

  • Fixed an issue where weekly forecast approvers were unable to view forecasts.
  • Approvers can now correctly view weekly forecasts.

Calibrations:

  • Fixed an issue where calibrations due today were not appearing in the Upcoming or Due lists.

Noticeboard:

  • Fixed an issue where attachments on noticeboard posts were not being carried over to notices in child organisations.

Invoicing:

  • Fixed an issue in inter-entity invoices where the screen would break upon approval.

Employment:

  • When a user’s employment ends, they will now be automatically removed from all permission groups.

Equipment:

  • Fixed a bug that caused equipment to appear overdue due to missed reindexing when calibrations were updated.
