Features:

  • Budgeting: The new Budgeting module is now live. It helps teams track revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditure at the branch level, with options to consolidate budgets across branches. Click to read the guide.
  • Forecasting: This allows branch managers to track key financial trends such as revenue, wage changes, recruitment fees, subcontractor spend and other costs. Click to read the guide.
  • Journals: These provide a way to record and adjust revenue and spending transactions within BOSS. This supports more accurate month-end processing and tracking of non-standard or manual adjustments.

Improvements:

  • Equipment: When an equipment manager is updated, all incomplete calibrations will now automatically assign to the new manager.
  • Equipment: Added the ability to bulk move equipment from one branch to another.
  • Calibrations: on the homepage are now split into Due and Upcoming sections for clearer tracking.
  • Soil Testing: Test Methods can now be marked as deprecated, helping teams avoid using outdated procedures.
  • Soil Testing: Added the ability to add prices for test requests in shared projects.
  • Soil Testing: You can now delete test worksheets directly from the system.
  • Budgets: Added the ability to consolidate branch budgets, allowing multiple branches to be merged into a single view.
  • Budgets: New option to auto-fill accounts in budgets based on revenue or staff numbers.
  • Budgets: Estimated revenue now considers public holidays and staff leave.

  • Jobs: New filters added to the Jobs List for Last Week and Last Month, allowing users to quickly review recent activity.
  • Management Dashboards: Added additional information to expense claims for more detailed reporting.
  • Management Dashboards: Improved invoice loading speeds on the management dashboard by approximately 30x.
  • Notifications: Added a custom notification type for expense claim submissions.
  • Positions: You can now specify whether a position requires a performance review, giving more control over HR processes.
  • Custom Jobs: Custom fields in jobs no longer require approval; instead the compliance manager receives a notification detailing what was updated and by whom.

Bug Fixes:

Offboarding: Fixed an issue when transferring email forwarders in labour hire organisations.

Email Logging: Emails can now only be marked as confidential if they belong to the user.

Approvals: Fixed an issue where some approvers couldn’t view the weekly forecasts.

Calibrations: Resolved a time zone-related issue when viewing overdue calibrations.

Custom Jobs: Fixed an issue where prompt fields weren’t displaying correctly on exported templates.

Custom Jobs: Resolved problems with custom job prompt fields not functioning as expected.

Equipment: Fixed an issue where some equipment items couldn’t be searched for.

Equipment: Resolved an issue with the equipment CSV download formatting incorrectly if fields contained commas.

Tenders: Added a Request Account toggle when adding new clients via a tender.
