Features

Assign Deliverables to Another Branch

You can now assign a different branch to a deliverable, independent of the job’s branch.

On the Deliverable → Details tab, please refer to the screenshot below for options to:

  • Assign the whole deliverable to another branch
  • Assign individual line items to different branches for split-branch work

This helps ensure reporting reflects where the work is actually being done.

New Site Establishment Job Type

A new Site Establishment (managed) job type is now available, making it easier to set up site records and linked test requests in one step.

When filling out a new Site Establishment job, you’ll have the option to create a linked Test Request by filling in the test request details. You can also generate samples at the same time by entering a quantity in the ‘Add Samples’ field:

Improvements

Employment Awards:

  • The Employment Award form now supports alternate ordinary hours with a toggle and conditional fields to reflect different working arrangements.

Finance:

  • Loans now support a principal‑first payment option, with amortisation schedules and accounting journals updating automatically. The loan setup screen includes a new toggle and conditional date field for this option.

Payroll:

  • Employment Hero pay run exports now run in the background, keeping the app responsive while files are generated.
  • CSV exports now show a loading state while the file is prepared.

Outlook Add-In:

  • Improved reliability of the Outlook Add‑In by handling more email ID formats and adding fallbacks when matching emails by conversation.

Awards, Rates & Roles:

  • Alternate ordinary hours now accept decimal values.
  • Penalty rates can now be filtered by Employment Award.
  • Position numbers are now shown in the Position dropdown making similar roles easier to tell apart.

Soil Testing:

  • The Sample Dump export now includes Start Date and End Date fields, allowing exports for a specific time period.

Search:

  • Recurring payments can now be searched by description.
  • Improved error messages when sending deliverables so issues are clearer to users.

General UI & Stability:

  • Minor wording, layout, and behind‑the‑scenes improvements across the app.
  • Ongoing test refinements to improve system stability and catch issues earlier.

Bug Fixes

Timesheets:

  • Fixed multiple issues with ordinary hours, overtime, and TOIL calculations, particularly when alternate hour rules apply.
  • Fixed validation errors where TOIL fields were checked even when TOIL wasn’t selected.

Expenses, Loans & Budgets:

  • Fixed issues affecting expense claim creation and updates.
  • Resolved several smaller bugs in loan processing, pay run notifications, and budget calculations.
  • Fixed a budget calculation issue where wages were being subtracted instead of added to expenses.

Xero Integration:

  • Fixed a critical issue where credit notes synced to Xero with incorrect amounts.
  • Fixed invoice filtering by branch where the wrong data source was being used.

Equipment:

  • Fixed errors during equipment imports when optional fields (such as serial numbers) were missing.

Soil Testing:

  • Fixed issues preventing values from being cleared in the Moistures table.
  • Corrected how opportunity Markets and Services load when editing an existing opportunity.

Dashboards:

  • Fixed an issue where switching between client profiles from search results didn’t refresh the page correctly.
  • Corrected the API used by the Job Overview dashboard to ensure accurate data.

Deliverables:

  • Fixed recipient selection issues in the Send Deliverable process.
