Features

CPIR Management

  • Shared CPIR Categories & Types: CPIR categories and types are now centralised within PTG Group. Child organisations will use these categories and types when raising CPIRs, helping maintain consistency across organisations. There is no change to the current process for raising CPIRs.

Samples & Reporting

  • GIS Export for Samples Register: The Samples Register now includes a dedicated “Download for GIS” export option. This generates a GIS-friendly CSV format with the fields commonly required for mapping and spatial analysis software.

Notifications

  • Branch Deletion Notifications: Email notifications are now sent automatically when a branch is deleted, with details of who performed the action and which branch was removed.
  • Microsoft Teams Sync Alerts: If a project manager has not connected their Microsoft 365 account, team owners will now receive a notification explaining why a Teams sync was skipped.

Improvements

Tender Management

  • Tender Manager Visibility: Tender managers are now displayed on tender cards and within the tender register. You can also now search tenders by manager name.

Projects

  • Project Realised Value: Significant performance improvements have been made to realised value calculations, particularly on larger projects.

Timesheets

  • Load Work Day Updates: Changes to timesheet settings now take effect immediately, ensuring features such as default hours and pay rules are applied correctly without requiring users to log out and back in.

Testing & Approvals

  • Deleted Sub-Methods: Deleted sub-methods are now shown as disabled options on existing sample records, preserving historical selections.
  • Cross-Organisation Approvals: Approval workflows now correctly recognise users across organisation groups, ensuring approval actions are visible to the appropriate people regardless of the organisation they’re currently logged into.

Bug Fixes

A number of issues have been resolved across the platform including:

  • Tender manager names not displaying correctly.
  • Competency start dates being calculated incorrectly for certain skill levels.
  • Microsoft Teams sync failures when project managers had not connected Microsoft 365.
  • Xero equipment synchronisation validation errors.
  • Project forms becoming stuck in a loading state.
  • Leave form performance issues.
  • CPIR category and type visibility across organisation groups.
  • Various dark mode display issues.
