Features

Project Management

• Deliverable Revisions: You can now generate new versions of existing documents directly from a job. This allows you to update a deliverable if job details change while automatically preserving the history of all previous versions.

Finance & Accounting

• Excel Journal Imports: You can now bulk-import journal entries using a downloadable Excel template.
• Xero Direct Links: Admin and accounting staff can now jump directly from a BOSS invoice to the corresponding record in Xero via a new shortcut link.

Payroll

• Employment Awards: Awards can now be “locked” to pay run periods. This make sure ordinary hours and overtime are calculated accurately based on the specific length of the pay run (e.g. fortnightly vs. monthly).

• Audit Trails: Journals now display exactly who created them and when.

Project Management & Operations

• Project Manager Visibility: Branch project lists now display the Project Manager for each project.
• Project Details: The project details page is now cleaner and easier to navigate. Required fields are more prominent and we’ve simplified how budget alerts appear.

Payroll

• Faster Pay Runs: We have optimized the backend to make opening a pay run noticeably faster even for large teams with many claims.
• Expanded Permissions: Contractor Management and Accounting groups can now edit supplier records directly.

General System

• Reliability: Ongoing updates have made the entire platform more responsive and ensured Microsoft 365 file syncing remains stable.

Bug Fixes

Finance & Accounting

• Sync Corrections: Resolved several issues to ensure credit notes, equipment data and split purchases sync reliably with Xero.

Project Management & Operations

• Form Reliability: Corrected issues where project forms wouldn’t refresh correctly when navigating between different jobs or branches.
• Search Filters: Fixed a bug where branch searches on the Test Request list weren’t returning the correct results.

Payroll & HR

• Integration Alerts: Restored error notifications for Employment Hero syncs so the team is alerted immediately if an action is required.

General System

• Form Validation: Required fields across all custom forms are now more clearly marked.
