Improvements

Shared Credit Cards

• A single credit card can now be linked to multiple users. All users will be notified to upload purchase receipts via email and a tile on their dashboard.

Equipment

• A ‘Manager’ filter has been added to the Equipment list. This field is now also included in equipment CSV exports.

Competencies

• Competencies can now be assigned to users without completing the required fields at the time of assignment. These fields must still be completed before approval.

Samples

• When downloading a ZIP file of reports from the sample register, you can now enter a custom file name instead of using a generic timestamp.

Accounts

• To keep financial coding consistent, the accounts team can now save specific account codes to a supplier’s profile for others to use. When creating a purchase for that supplier, the system will suggest only the relevant codes.
• You can now leave comments on manual journals.
• MasterCard exports now include a direct link to each purchase record in theBOSSapp for faster reviewing.

Payroll

• You can now set an end date for recurring payroll deductions. Once the date is reached, the deduction will automatically stop, removing the need for manual deletions.
• For staff on specific awards, the pay screen now shows a clear table explaining how ordinary and overtime hours were calculated, colour-coded by whether they are before, within or after the pay run dates

Security & Privacy

• We’ve updated our password policy to require at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers and symbols. This will take effect on all new password resets.
• Access to supplier bank details is now restricted to Admin and Accounting roles to keep sensitive financial information secure.

Bug Fixes

TOIL: Corrected how “Time Off In Lieu” hours are categorised to ensure they don’t incorrectly inflate ordinary work hour totals.

Xero Syncing: Fixed an issue where split purchase items were being sent to Xero as “Draft” instead of “Posted.”

Tax Accuracy: Corrected a bug where GST was not being applied correctly to credit note allocations sent to Xero.

Payroll Exports: Fixed a bug where certain allowances were appearing in payroll exports even when they had been disabled for that pay run.

File Performance: Resolved an issue where downloading very large folders would occasionally cause a system timeout.

Password Resets: Fixed a delay in the password reset flow; emails are now dispatched immediately.
