New Features

Soil Testing – External Tests:

You can now mark any test as external to track work completed by third parties.

Click into an existing test, select it, and use the menu button (3 dots) to mark and unmark it as external.

This will update the report prefix to ‘EXT’ making it easier to see which samples are being tested externally.

Timesheets:

  • You can now edit break times directly in your productivity by clicking/tapping on them.

Purchasing & Productivity:

  • Under Projects -> Overview -> Productivity: The productivity table now includes Rate and Job columns.

Improvements

Project Search & Speed:

  • Searching for jobs is now much faster and more accurate using an improved TypeSense search engine.
  • The Map tab on the projects register loads more quickly.
  • Job search no longer hides team members from other organisations, giving a more complete view.
  • The Project Map has been reintroduced on the Projects List page and now shows your current location to help you quickly find nearby jobs.

HR & Staff Management:

  • The staff list now shows the employment end date for each user, helping managers track team status more clearly.

Productivity:

  • Charge-out calculations now exclude break times, giving more accurate reporting for productivity.

Microsoft File Uploads:

  • File uploads to Microsoft (e.g. OneDrive or Teams) are now faster due to background caching of commonly used folders.

Testing Stability:

  • Improved internal checks to ensure project values are correctly updated when test reports or deliverables are edited.

User Interface:

  • The address label in the Client Details form has been updated to say “Business/Residential Address” to reduce confusion.

Bug Fixes

Project Map:

  • Fixed an issue that caused the Project Map to break if a project had no client.
  • Internal and template projects are now excluded from the map to keep it clean and focused.

Support Tickets:

  • Fixed an issue that prevented some users from seeing their support tickets.
  • Also fixed a broken notification link related to ticket updates.

Employment Hero Integration:

  • Improved the reliability of leave syncing from Employment Hero.
  • Ensured the correct integration settings are used for payroll and leave data.

Staff Roles & HR:

  • Fixed a bug where the staff matrix was not showing the correct users.
  • The correct role is now pre-selected when editing a staff role.
  • Fixed display issues caused by missing data in staff profiles.

Emails & Notifications:

  • Attachments in emails now have the correct file type, improving compatibility.
  • Large comment notifications will no longer fail due to oversized attachments.
  • Invoices will only send through Microsoft Graph if a default accounts email is configured for your organisation.

Deliverables & Project Values:

  • Project values now update only when needed, preventing duplicate or unnecessary calculations.
  • Reduced retry times and improved stability when updating project realised values.

Productivity & Purchase Orders:

  • Fixed errors when productivity items didn’t have an associated job.
  • The rate is now correctly shown in productivity records.
  • Job information is now included in purchase orders for better context.

General Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed rare errors when saving samples or switching reminders.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause worksheet editing permissions to reset incorrectly.
  • Shared groups now correctly appear in search results.
  • Improved error handling for job-related forms and toast notifications.
  • Fixed issues with broken links and address displays in the staff profile.
  • Resolved minor issues with sorting, syncing, and job form validations.
