theBOSSapp Updates 25/07/25

Tabbed Deliverable Form:

Based on user feedback, you can now use the Tab key to move through fields in the new deliverable form making data entry quicker when using a desktop pc.

Improved Project Feedback Form:

The project feedback form will now come up even if no project contacts have been assigned.

You’ll be prompted to either select a contact from the client record or add a new one.

This makes it easier to remember to request feedback once a project is complete.

Direct File Uploads from Microsoft Services:

You can now upload files straight from Microsoft Outlook, no need to download and re-upload manually.

Features

  • Loan Refinancing and Status: You can now refinance loans. Each loan has a status (activerefinanced, or paid off), and any refinanced loans are stored in a history log. Loans are now linked to purchases through a dedicated loan items table.
  • Separate Loan Register: Loans now sit in their own register under Accounting, making it easier to see what’s outstanding.
  • Capex Notifications: The Accounts team will now be notified whenever a new Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) item is added.
  • Permission Groups:  A new permission group allows users to create and edit other permission groups.
  • GST Free Clients: You can now mark clients as GST free, if applicable.
  • Custom Jobs: A new ‘Delete All’ button lets you remove all fields from the form builder in one go.
