New Profit and Loss Dashboard + Management Dashboard Updates

The Profit and Loss dashboard is focused on how your area performed in the selected period (i.e. past results).

The Management Dashboard is now being separated out and will focus on upcoming work:

  • Work in Progress (WIP)
  • Purchases yet to be invoiced

These changes should make it easier to distinguish between past performance and upcoming workload.

Branches: New Leave tab available

A new Leave tab has been added to each branch profile and is available to Branch Managers. It shows total accrued hours across all leave types along with a breakdown by staff member. This is useful for quickly reviewing team leave balances across the branch.

Deliverables: File sending improved

When sending deliverables, files under 30MB will be attached to the email. For larger files, the client receives a secure link with a password. The download page shows a preview, expiry date, and who has access.

Improvements

Comments:

  • When you comment on a resource, you’ll now be notified of all future comments made on that same resource.

Calibrations:

  • Equipment calibration worksheets in Excel will now pull in your organisation’s logo.
  • Updating a calibration approver will now apply the change to all existing calibrations.
  • Added the ability to mark calibration items as ‘Use All Equipment’ meaning all items of the same type will appear on the worksheet.

Deliverables:

  • When sending a deliverable, clients will now see a Deliverable Page showing the main file, any additional files and who it’s been shared with.
  • The sent deliverables table has been restyled with a more modern layout.
  • Added more columns to the Project Deliverable Overview for better visibility.
  • You can now mark purchases and productivity as ‘Delivered’. This removes them from being suggested for future deliverables but they won’t appear as line items on the deliverable itself. They will still be included in the project’s total purchases and productivity.

Profit and Loss:

  • You can now click on any account to view the purchases, timesheets, journals and other records that make up that account.
  • Added the ability to export invoices from the Profit and Loss section.
  • Capex items are now included in Profit and Loss reports.
  • Timesheet data has also been added to Profit and Loss.

Suppliers:

  • Supplier insurance notifications now go to the leader of the Contractor Management group.

Equipment:

  • Equipment groups can now have default approvers helping to distribute approval responsibilities.

Soil Testing:

  • Users can now upload their signature directly in the Excel add-in.

Dockets:

  • The Docket Profile has been updated with a more modern look.
  • Docket contacts now pull from the Project Contact List instead of the client contact list.

Timesheets:

  • If a timesheet is in a pay run but hasn’t been approved yet (due to changes after inclusion) it will now show a badge in the pay run to make this status clear.

Pay Rates:

  • You can now assign pay rates to positions helping to enforce minimum wage compliance.

Bug Fixes

Deliverables:

  • Deliverables larger than 30MB will now send correctly when using the deliverable page mentioned above.

Profit and Loss:

  • Fixed an issue where invoice items from other branches were incorrectly appearing.
  • Resolved a display issue where yearly and quarterly views were not showing correctly.

Reports:

  • Fixed a bug that caused report numbers to double up.
