Project Tagging

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 6 views

The Project Tagging feature lets you quickly categorise and locate projects using customisable tags. Tags are user-defined labels that can help you organise and identify projects based on specific criteria or keywords.

Adding Tags to a Project

  1. Navigate to the Project Details Tab: Go to the project’s details tab within theBOSSapp.
  2. Find the Tags Field: In this tab, you’ll see a field labelled Tags.
  3. Enter Your Tags: Type in any tags that are relevant to the project. You can add multiple tags by separating each with a comma.

These tags can be anything meaningful to your work, such as “high priority”, “2024 project” or any other term that helps you categorise the project effectively.

Viewing Tags on the Project Register

  • Tags on Project Tiles: Once you’ve added tags, they will display on the project’s tile in the Project Register. This makes it easier to visually scan and identify projects based on your tags without opening each project.

Searching by Tag

  • Search Function: You can search for tags directly in the Project Register to filter and locate projects associated with specific tags. Simply enter the tag you’re looking for in the search bar, and relevant projects will appear in the results.
  • The Jobs Register: On a project, the jobs list can also be filtered by either the ‘over budget’ or ‘under budget’ tag.
