Equipment Type Groups

The equipment type groups feature provides a way for organisations to group similar types of equipment together in a centralised place. This makes it easier to organise and manage equipment by grouping them into categories that make sense for the organisation. By using equipment type groups, it becomes easier to find equipment when you need it, track its usage and maintenance, and ensure that it is properly calibrated and serviced.

To view equipment type groups, go to ‘Organisation’ > ‘Links’ > ‘Equipment Type Groups’ > ‘Add Equipment Type Group’.

Adding a new Equipment Type Group

  1. Click “ORGANISATION”
  2. Click “Equipment Type Groups”
  3. Click the name of the Equipment Type Group that you would like to edit.
  4. Type in the new Equipment Group name.
  5. Click “Save”

Editing an Equipment Type Group Name

  1. Click “ORGANISATION”
  2. Click “Equipment Type Groups”
  3. Click the name of the Equipment Type Group that you would like to edit.
  4. Type in the new Equipment Group name.
  5. Click “Save”

Deleting an Equipment Type Group

  1. Navigate to app.thebossapp.com.au/home
  2. Click “ORGANISATION”
  3. Click “Equipment Type Groups”
  4. To delete an Equipment Type group, simply click on the “Delete” option in the corresponding row.
  5. Confirm “Delete”
